The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent 11,773,240 to our founder, Dr. Tom Rosenmayer, for “Molecular Composites of Natural Rubber and Silica.” International patents are pending. This patent will serve as the basis for a new standard in silica-functional natural rubber known as Silpara Molecular Composite (SMC). SMC’s first application is a $35 billion opportunity in the transportation industry.
